The following pathways will be closed for safety reasons due to O-Train upgrades being completed this summer:
- The Brookfield track crossing will be closed to cyclists and pedestrians from July 12 to August 14 inclusive. Residents should detour via Heron Road to cross the tracks. Signs mentioning the closure and showing an alternative route will be positioned close to the tracks. For further information please call 613-741-4390 or visit octranspo.com. - The Riverside Pathway from Bank Street to Hog’s Back is currently closed for both O-Train rehabilitation and NCC Pathway maintenance, and will re-open in October. Cyclists are encouraged to use the existing asphalt sidewalk on the east/south side of Riverside Drive with cyclist ceding the right of way to pedestrians as required. The O-Train will undergo major upgrades in the coming weeks to ensure continued safety and service reliability.
Regular O-Train service and the Brookfield crossing are scheduled to reopen on Sunday, August 15.
