Help keep Ottawa clean and green and put litter where it belongs

Ottawa – The City of Ottawa is calling on all residents and visitors to pitch in and stop the LitterBug from littering in our parks, neighbourhoods and scenic locations.

Help keep our parks and tourist attractions beautiful and clean for everyone to enjoy by doing your part and putting your litter where it belongs – in a waste or recycling container.

The City of Ottawa invests 7.9 million dollars and over 113,000 hours every year cleaning litter off roadsides and parks. The simple action of putting your litter where it belongs benefits everyone. Together we can help keep Ottawa clean, green and litter-free.

For more information, visit ottawa.ca/litterbug. To report litter, contact the City by calling 3-1-1 (TTY: 613-580-2401).
